Kolkata, 26th November 2016: GLAAMOUR Institute of Fashion & Interiors organised their Annual Graduating Show named CHROMA 2016 at Swabhumi. The show comprised of two main categories of Interior Designing Exhibition and the Fashion Show. The gorgeous and very talented actor Parno Mittra graced the occasion and sizzled the ramp as the showstopper of the fashion show. Model Subhomita from MTV India’s popular reality show India’s Next Top Model (Season 2) fame was also present to walk the ramp adorning the beautiful creations of the students along with other popular city models.
For the interior exhibition, the theme was ‘Sustainable Design’ with students making replica models, space designing along with installation art. For the Fashion show there were around 13 themes namely Fabriplication, Monday Blues, Dark Lady, Pushkara, Earthy Hues, A Royal Affair, Books and many more. These are judged under different categories like Best Creative Collection, Theme Interpretation, Accessory Design, Surface Ornamentation amongst others..

Actor Parno Mittra said, “I am amazed to see the level of talent these students have and I congratulate them for their hard work and effort they have put in for this show. They have a very bright future in the fashion industry.”

2015

Kolkata, 7th March 2015 : The much awaited event Chroma 2015 was held with pomp and grandeur at Royal Bengal Room. The Idle Fantasy, Trash, even Ultimate Simplicity in Khadi and other spectacular themes, transformed the fashion show into an extravagant parade of colors and designs.
Tollywood diva Nusrat Jahan was this year’s  show-stopper. “ It’s always nice to be among students who can produce such fantastic work. I am sure they are going to be wonderful assets to the world of fashion.” The runaway was flaunted by other renowned models like Ishika, Subhomita and Dimpy.

Ruska The Folli Hues, Satti, Buddhang Bandha, Triumph of Spirituality, On Cloud 9, Worli Chitrakala, Western Bongs, Our Place in Shadow, Oriental Dreams, Spring Birds, Save Women, Save Humanity, Rang Mahal, Dark Shadow, Tantalizing Cocktail, Romaine Vacancies and many other such glorious themes grabbed the eye at this year’s fashion show ‘Chroma’

Eighteen sequences, crafted by twenty one students kept the audience glued to their seats.

2014

Kolkata, Feb 1: ‘Fashion’ got a new meaning at ‘Chroma2014’, the annual fashion show organised by Glaamour School of Fashion and Interiors. At ‘Chroma’ the designs spoke for themselves and explored the inherent eminence of fashion as an art. The Queen of Spades, Vampires, even Flowers from Another Planet and other such spectacular themes, transformed the fashion show into an extravagant parade of colors and designs.

Tollywood diva of ‘Awara’ fame, Sayantika Banerjee in stole the show at Chroma. The runway was flaunted by other renowned models like Madhabilata, Ishika, Subhomita and Dimpy.

Moksh, ‘Nakshi Kanthar Math’, Escape from Reality, 8p.m., Break The Lines, Life In New Black, Umbrella, Rolling Future On A Paddle Wheel, Fireflies and many other such glorious themes grabbed the eye at this year’s fashion show ‘Chroma’.
